Anonymous commission.
Haven't drawn the opposite process before...!
DISCLAIMER: Many people are understandably upset about this image. It was never my intention to make a sexist proclamation but it seems that, inadvertently, I have done just that.
I firmly believe women should be free to look and act any way they want. I've maintained this position in the image's comments from the moment it was posted. This image is not a statement, it's meant to satisfy a client's kink. I honestly did not expect an audience outside the transformation porn community. If I have offended you, I apologize.

Btw, awesome picture!
To be fair, it's difficult to tell it's meant to be a kinky picture.
Btw, do you take requests/commissions?
I don't do requests, sorry. I do accept commissions on a case by case basis. Note me your idea and we can figure something out!

Great work, though. You are mad skilled.
Either way, this image was never meant as a statement. It's just niche porn. I strongly believe women should be free to dress and act any way they want.

I have a hard time believing this piece is simply supposed to "statisfy a client's kink".
The evolution that is displayed here actually carries a deeper meaning if you are willing to look for it.
Now, I do not know about your client's or your personal background but for me and my cultural background this shows the liberation of spirit and thought for women through time.
The first women is a mare sex object that only seems to worry about her looks and satisfying others.
Through this evolution the women learn (book) to expand their horizon, think for themselves, gain more sense of self and recognize themselves as a human being that is allowed to have think and speak for itself.
This very evolution is important. Especially now that the world moves closer together through technology and different cultures with different ideas of equality clash more often.
Generally speaking, women are allowed to be either of the versions displayed here (in the western world).
If a woman wants to be the last version, the first or any inbetween, she will be accepted by the majority of her community. (For any versions you will be able to find someone that claims a woman should not be like this for various reasons.)
As a closing note to possibly offended viewers: Please regard the intention claimed in the artist's comment. The (primary) directed community is porn. I simply ask you to honestly think about any piece of porn that could not be offensive.
I may not support the concept of "bimbofication" you (sortimid) seem to make money off but for this specific piece you do have my full support.
I think the issue with your interpretation, and the reason many find it offensive, is the assumption of people's personality based on their looks.
This "deeper meaning" implies that intelligence and sexiness are the two, mutually exclusive ends of a spectrum. In reality, that's not the case. You can be both sexy and intelligent. You can have big boobs AND a PhD.
So while I definitely support science, literacy and self-growth, I'm afraid my image doesn't do a very good job at promoting them. That's not very surprising, since it was never my intention. I was not trying to make any sort of statement. Of course, you're free to interpret it as you like.
I think LaSalle's quote invites artists to challenge society's taboos and conservative ideas. Unfortunately, I seem to have done the opposite.
Thanks for the kind words!
I saw your drawing on Instagram being heavily criticized because, apparently, it's offensive towards black people, and earlier because it was supposedly sexist. This is clearly not what you meant with your art, and I don't want you to get upset because of this. A person might agree or disagree with your idea, but you have the right to express it. Expressing ideas towards art isn't easy!
Don't give up. You're not being offensive towards anyone. Some people need their daily amount of stupidity for feeling well with themselves.
The image blew up a few months ago and it gets reposted every once in a while. I've expressed my thoughts on the whole thing in my journal: sortimid.deviantart.com/journa…
I can imagine how hard it is for you and how anxious you felt. Since you did your best for explaining your point of view, don't worry about anything now. Sorry for bringing up such a painful topic.
I've had very few people attack me personally. Most who take the time to find the creator have been very pleasant, supportive and open-minded
I guess she stops going to the tanning salon.
Beautiful artwork, anyway.
The internet can be a stupid place sometimes.

I disagree. I'm not apologizing because I feel I'm at fault. Nor am I apologizing for creating the picture. I stand by my work. But I also enjoy being kind. I do understand where they're coming from and I feel genuinely sorry some people were inadvertently upset by something I did. I'm not capitulating, just acknowledging their feelings.
